Hulu Error 94: How I Got Rid Of It

The Handmaid’s Tale is my all-time favorite show, and I look forward to watching it every day after work.

However, it is only exclusively available on Hulu.

Although Hulu offers several original shows worth watching, the platform has its fair share of errors that can complicate streaming media.

Since I have been a Hulu subscriber for some time, I have had several server communication and runtime errors.

It is safe to say that I know my way around most of these issues now.

A few days ago, the app suddenly stopped working while watching the show.

When I refreshed the page, I started receiving Hulu Error 94.

I knew this was a compatibility issue that prevented communication between the device and the Hulu servers, but I was not sure what was causing it.

A few seconds later, I realized I was using the Hulu app on my PS4, which was causing the issue, and after trying a few solutions, I landed on a fail-proof solution to the error.

To get rid of the Hulu error 94 on any device, reset the network settings. This can be done by selecting the ‘Reset Network Settings’ options from the System settings menu.

If you have gone through all the solutions mentioned in this article but still face Hulu Error 94, try logging into your Hulu account using another device.

Since the error is caused by device incompatibility, there is a high chance that you will be able to stream media using another device.

If the Hulu app does not work on another device as well, check your internet connection and check the status of the Hulu servers (you can visit DownDetector).

Don’t Wait For The Error To Resolve Itself

Hulu has provided a list of common fixes that can help resolve the issue, but none worked for me.

They do not cater to the root cause of Hulu Error 94. Resetting the network settings was what solved the issue for me.
